With spring approaching on March 21, the warm days are already within reach.

Today's update includes around 140 more pages to the already uploaded 69 pages of Chicago Mail Order Co. mail order catalog No. 98 from spring/summer 1929. Exactly 90 years ago, around 4 million customers ordered their latest spring fashion from this catalog.

3,900 pages are now publicly accessible on artdeco-boulevard.de.

In keeping with this year's rather late carnival season, another issue of Wiener Record Mode No. 99, February 1929, is published today.

The 40 pages feature transitional coats and dresses, as well as some carnival costumes in four-color print on page 22. Fashion photographs on the first pages show ladies' hats, afternoon dresses and sporty jumpers (sweaters). There are also confirmation frocks and communion dresses for young girls on pages 24 and 25.

Despite the still chilly temperatures, spring is not far away. In the now completely uploaded Modenschau issue No. 242 from February 1933, the first spring models were already on display. Previously, only 12 pages of the issue were online. Articles in the issue dealt with the "Children's Festival on Carnival Monday" or "That Once Thrilled Us! – Men's Thoughts on Fashions of Yesteryear".

3,800 pages are now digitized and publicly available on artdeco-boulevard.de.

In the Modenschau issue No. 217 of January 1931, the latest ball and evening fashions for the winter of 1931 were presented. In addition to women's fashions for all times of the day, the freshly uploaded issue also featured a wealth of clothing for children and young women.

Articles in the issue covered the topics "What Do You Expect From 1931?", "Women in Men's Jobs", "We Switch on Modernly" (electric toggle switches instead of rotary switches) and "Technical Innovations in the Household".

After a longer break, a new update takes place today. All pages of the New York department store and mail order house Hamilton Garment Co. from spring and summer 1924 are now completely online with description. Previously, only 45 pages were public. Unlike many mail-order houses, which continued to present their fashion offerings through drawings well into the 1930s or beyond, Hamilton Garment had been using photographic images since the 1910s.

As a result, there are now 3,700 pages in the artdeco-boulevard.de database.
