Modenschau – February 1931
The February 1931 issue of Modenschau No. 218 presented the first transitional models for spring. Ensembles, promenade dresses and light coats are intended for walks in the town or spa during the first warmer days of spring. Elegant evening dresses are just as much a part of this magazine as sophisticated visiting and tea dresses.
Articles were dedicated to the topics "The other me" (carnival), "Animals in front of the microphone" or "How do we care for our darlings" (plants).

Philipsborn’s 1919-20
Until the end of January 1920, the 1919-20 fall/winter mail order catalog of Philipsborn's of Chicago, Illinois, was valid. One hundred years ago, costumes with heavy black silk braid was in vogue. Wide barrel skirts with narrow hems echoed pre-war fashions. Extravagant women's hats with ostrich feathers or bird wings and winter coats in a wide dolman cut were the defining trends of Paris fashion in 1919.
With this update, you will now find more than 5,200 pages on artdeco-boulevard.de.
