THESE FROCKS WERE SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO SLENDERIZE THE STOUT FIGURE.
On this and the opposite page will be found some charming modes fashioned on lines for the stouter figure. Materials as well as cut, all play an important part in attaining the much to be desired slenderness.
Sizes 38½ to 48½ inches, bust measurement.
NOTE—These dresses are made with unusually long lines from the shoulder to the waistline as for example: size 38½ is equivalent to the usual 40½-inch in regular stock, and so on through other sizes.
70F15. Navy blue crepe meteor and silk Georgette crepe are the materials used in combination in this Frock of modish design. The bead embroidery on the broad girdle and sash-ends follows conventional but striking outlines, and the collar of lace gives a becoming touch… $68.00.
70F16. The draped effect which gives distinction to many of the season's Gowns makes the one illustrated a most desirable style. It has a decided stateliness of line, and the material is of brown or navy blue crêpe de chine. Embroidered Georgette crêpe forms the collar and the square-cut section above the vestee… $68.00.
70F17. Designed for the stout figure is this One-piece Dress of navy blue serge, button-trimmed back and front, and having a vestee of tan tricolette. The narrow tailored tie-belt also has a tendency to slenderize the figure… $42.00.
